Fake news, questionable morality, and troublesome technology

"7 Escape" presented itself as a meticulously chaotic narrative akin to a sinking ship in terms of its allure. Amidst moments that tempted me to seek immediate exits, it also provided ample food for contemplation regarding the human experience. One such instance centered on the unfortunate character "K," who, having been exchanged at birth and raised in affluence, faced abandonment upon uncovering his true lineage. His poignant reflections, such as "no one can be family unless you're related by blood" (episode 12, 32:34) and "since I was young, I was the one to entertain and serve Father, why am I the fake son?" (episode 12, 39:25), prompt us to scrutinize society's fixation on biological ties. Adoptive families and their children too frequently encounter diminished worthiness, overshadowed by the pursuit of biological replication as the epitome of familial bonds. This skewed perspective undermines the love, dedication, and happiness prevalent in adoptive familial relationships. Another notable moment highlighted the dichotomy between authenticity and artifice (episode 12, 39:00), underscoring that despite convincing semblances, a distinction between reality and imitation persists. Even if something resembles, behaves, and sounds like a duck, it may not necessarily be one. Moreover, the series underscores the peril of technology wielded by those ignorant of its potential. "7 Escape" delves into our problematic engagement with technology and the consequences of unchecked technological progress. It underscores humanity's susceptibility to the sway of misinformation (episode 12, 15:16), a pressing concern in contemporary, technology-dominated society. In summary, "7 Escape" emerges as a blend of misguided, cringe-worthy storytelling juxtaposed with unexpected insights. It embodies both irredeemable flaws and redeeming qualities.

Makjang to the highest level

I anticipated from the start that this drama would push boundaries in every conceivable manner. Nevertheless, having watched the initial part compelled me to see it through to this second installment. This new season has introduced two additional characters, of whom I find the aunt particularly disagreeable. Is her dialogue truly so cringe-worthy? As for the acting, it's a thumbs-down from me. The narrative has become laden with so many twists and turns that it now feels drawn-out. By episode 12, I found myself fast-forwarding through several scenes, feeling fatigued at the prospect of the final four episodes. Despite my weariness, I'm committed to seeing it through to the end. As anticipated, the storyline has deviated drastically from its original trajectory, to the extent that its initial premise may have faded from memory. Oh, Bang Da Mi, the cascade of events stemming from your demise... it's almost unrecognizable. (LOL) In all honesty, they should have concluded this series by episode 10, as it has undeniably overstayed its welcome.

I'm absolutely enamored with this drama; every aspect captivates me, and I find it incredibly engaging. I'm puzzled as to why some people are rating it poorly; for me, it's a perfect 10. I adore each character; they all seem perfectly suited to their roles. The synergy among them is something I particularly appreciate. Despite their belief that they're undeserving of love, I don't share that sentiment. I'm thoroughly invested and wouldn't dream of skipping any part of it because it's genuinely fascinating.
